Richard A. Weinberg, CPA

Rick oversees the administrative and financial activities of Capital Asset Management Group and affiliated companies. He provides support to our financial advisors and staff regarding the tax considerations and strategies as part of client financial plans. Rick also provides tax preparation services and aids in providing clients with their end-of-year income tax information. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed through the state of Virginia.

With over 40 years of experience in general and financial management, Rick joined Capital Asset Management Group in 2001 after having served for 18 years as the executive director of a not-for-profit professional membership organization headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. Prior to this role, Rick spent eight years with a local public accounting firm in Alexandria, Virginia. He also maintains a tax practice, primarily working with individual tax clients.

Rick earned an accounting degree from Benjamin Franklin University (now part of the George Washington University). 

Rick is a native of the Washington DC metropolitan area having grown up in Falls Church and Alexandria, Virginia; he has lived in North Springfield, Virginia with his wife, Karen, since 1985 and has two adult sons, Richard and Michael.
